In-Person Foot Washing Service

In-Person Foot Washing Service

This coming Sabbath before the 11:30 am live-streamed Communion Worship Service, there will be an in-person Foot Washing Service in the Social Hall.
If you are not able to attend in person, please make arrangements to participate in foot washing with a family member in your home prior to the 11:30 am Communion Worship Service. May God prepare our hearts to receive His blessings during the Communion Service whether we participate in-person or online.

Let us remember these words in reference to the foot-washing service, "It was to be observed by the disciples, that they might ever keep in mind His lessons of humility and service. This ordinance is Christ's appointed preparation for the sacramental service. While pride, variance, and strife for supremacy are cherished, the heart cannot enter into fellowship with Christ. We are not prepared to receive the communion of His body and His blood. Therefore it was that Jesus appointed the memorial of His humiliation to be first observed." (Desire of Ages 650)
