PRAYER CORNER "GIVING UP IS NOT AN OPTION!" DAY 13

MAKE ROOM Proverbs 18:16---A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men. I have been in ministry for about fifteen years.  Throughout the years, I have heard Proverbs 18:16.  At one point, I did not think this scripture was applicable to me. It seemed as though the gifts were there, but, in my mind, the second part of the scripture was not being fulfilled.  There were seemingly no opened doors to utilize the gift God had placed in me. However, for many of those years, I was in preparation stage of making room.  Doubt and fear cluttered and plagued my mind when I ministered.  Often I doubted whether God was speaking to me and whether I was speaking what He wanted me to say.  The preparation time was tedious, tearful, frustrating, and difficult, but it made room for strength, belief, and assurance.  Now, God has begun to open doors and to reveal the gifts and callings before great men.  God is preparing you to utilize the gifts and calling He has placed inside of you.  However, at this moment, you may be enduring some wearisome hardships.  But these difficult times are clearing out unwanted character flaws and transgressions that can hinder you from moving forward with the plan of God.  God is making room to display your gift of healing, gift of ministry, gift of administration, or gift of prophecy.  These gifts will not be hidden  but will be displayed before great men, women, children, congregations, and sinners.

IMPARTATION:  Make room in your heart and mind. Write in your journal about the negative issues,  thoughts, or situations that you would like to remove from your heart and mind.  Write your gifts and propose to replace those negative issues, thoughts, or situations.

COMMUNICATION:  Thank you, Lord, for every gift you have placed in me.  Thank you that I will use these gifts for   Your glory.  I will let my light shine before men, great and small, so they may see the good works and give you glory.  In Jesus' name, Amen
