PRAYER CORNER "GIVING UP IS NOT AN OPTION" DAY 16

An Open Heart

Acts 16:14---And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.

We can never enter into our car, home, or even a shopping mall without opening a door. No matter whether a key is used or whether the door is pulled or pushed, the door has to be opened to enter.  In the spiritual realm, Jesus cannot enter into our lives without us opening the door of our hearts. Revelation 3:20 states, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock : if any man hear my voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."  The only way for Jesus to enter into your life is for you to open your heart.  He will not force Himself into your life.  We cannot have a relationship with God until we allow Him to come in.  Jesus is knocking and speaking to you through His Word.  But it is your choice to open your heart to allow Him in.  Once Jesus enters your heart, more doors will open.  The door of forgiveness will open.  The door of prosperity will open.  The door of love will open.  The door of an abundant life will open.  When you open the door to your heart to Jesus, it will open the pathway to eternal life.

REFLECTION:  Reflect on your salvation moment, a forgiveness moment, and a love moment where you opened your heart.

IMPARTATION:  Share God's love, redemption, and forgiveness with someone who does not have a relationship with Christ.

MEDITATION;  Revelation 3:20;  Behold, I stand at  the  door and knock:  If any man hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him and he with me

COMMUNICATION:  Lord, I open the door of my heart to you so that your love, forgiveness, and mercy will flow freely.  I open my heart to love and forgive others.  I ask for your guidance each day as I continue to open my heart to you . Amen.
