I HAVE MY FATHER'S DNA

Genesis 1:27---So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.

Has anyone ever said to you, "Oh, my goodness, you look just like your dad"? They say it as if they are shocked that you have some of his features. They even seemed shocked when you have some of his characteristics. Often people fail to remember that you have your father's DNA. DNA stands for deoxyribonucleic acid. It contains the biological instructions that make each species unique. DNA, along with the instruction it contains, is passed from adult to organisms to their offspring during  reproduction. It is a representation of cells that come from our parents. DNA cells copy themselves. As Christians, we have God's spiritual DNA. God's DNA is not the physical deoxyribonucleic acid, but  it is the spiritual deoxyribonucleic anointing. We were made in God's image. The anointing of God makes up our spiritual cell and can be duplicated through how we live a Christian life. Our traits and attitude should resemble God. His love, grace, mercy, and protection prove He is our Father. Even when we commit sins and transgressions, our  spiritual DNA does not change. Our Father God does not abandon us because we make a wrong choice. You were created in the image of God before you were born. God's spiritual DNA is inside of you and contains God's instructions, which are passed on to those who desire to become believers. The anointing on your life displays who your Father is. No matter what season of life you are experiencing, you were created to look just like your Father because you were created with His deoxyribonucleic anointing.  COMMUNICATION: Father, every day I want to look more like you through my words, actions, and decisions. I choose to walk in your image and likeness as you created me. I pray that You will continue to anoint me with Your oil grace.  In Jesus' Name.  Amen.
