Praise God In The Storm

Hebrews 13:15---By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name.

The storms of life can blow us in every direction.  The tumultuous conditions and circumstances we face can overtake out faith, trust, and belief in ourselves and, sometimes, God.  It is during these times that our praise becomes silent.  Because we are overwhelmed by the challenges of life, we miss the opportunity to give God the sacrifice of praise.  The sacrifice of praise belongs to God because He is worthy!  But we are often bothered and worried by the idiosyncrasies of everyday life.  We must relinquish the habit to close our lips from giving thanks and praise to God.  Even though our children did not clean their rooms, praise and thank God that our children are safe at home. Though the supervisor overlooked you for a promotion, praise God that the pink slip was not given.  The storms of life can often be disappointing and discouraging, but we must look beyond the storm to see the "Son."  He is worthy to be praised even in the middle of he storm.  No matter what you are facing.  God is always worthy to be praised.

Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord.  Praise ye the Lord.

Communication

Heavenly Father, the storms of have been turbulent. But You promised peace beyond my own understanding.  Today, even in the storm, I will utilize the breath you have given me to praise your Holy Name.  You are worthy of all praise, glory, and honor.  I will forever lift my voice to bless your Name.
