THAT SAME POWER

LUKE 9:1---Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.

CEOs have power. Parents have power. Bodybuilders have power.  But their power is limited. Their power can only go to a certain extent. However, our God has unlimited power. He can do anything, except fail!  Believing and trusting in God gives you the power to overcome the schemes of the enemy.  You have the power to lay hands on the sick and they shall recover (Mark 16:17-18).  you have the power to call things into manifestation.  You have the power to love and pray for your enemies.  God has endowed you with power of the Holy Spirit.  The power that God has given is not to be used against anyone, not even your enemy.  It is to be used for the glory of God.  You are not powerless, but powerful.  As David went against Goliath, he went in the name of the God of Israel, which gave him power to defeat the nine-foot giant.  With God you have the power to conquer the sickness, the depression, the guilt, and the fear. You will have gargantuan giants that will attempt to thwart God's plan for your life.  But like David, when you face the giants of life with only one rock and a slingshot, know that the power from God that is in you will slay the giant.  The Bible states "For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all earth" (Romans (9:17}.  The same power Jesus used on earth is the same power He has given you to continue the work of the Father.

Write a devotional from your heart to God.  Allow God to hear your heart's desires, your thoughts, and gratefulness.
