GOD IS ON YOUR SIDE

ROMANS 8:21b..If God be for us, who can be against us?

My friend is a die-hard New York Giants fan.  Win or lose, she is on their side.  It is always funny to watch her during football season as she cheers, trash talks, and wears her Giants gear. She is on their side no matter what happens during the season.  Nothing and no one can change her mind about her New York Giants!  In like manner, God is on your side.  In good times or bad times, God is present in your life.  God is for you.  When it seems like everything and everybody is against you, God remains on your side. I understand there are times that debt collectors, health problems, malicious co-workers, flat tires, and too small clothes put us into a saddened place.  It feels like our lives have taken a turn for the worse.  But don't despair!  This is only a smoke screen.  God is your coach, quarterback, linebacker, tackle, and wide receiver!  The truth is, God is in full control and is on your side.  What calamity can succeed against you when God is for you?  Who can come against you when God is Lord and protector of your life?  He is there with you in every situation.  Your foes or situations have no power and are rendered useless when God is on your side.  No matter how much fire and smoke you endure, you still have the victory.  God will forever be on your side when it appears that the whole world is against you. You and God are on the same team, so there is no need to give up while you are in the game of life!

Write a devotional from your heart to God.  Allow God to hear your heart's desires, your thoughts, and your gratefulness.
