PRAYER CORNER "GIVING UP IS NOT AN OPTION!" DAY 5
Don't Give Up The Fight
1 Timothy 6:12 ---Fight the good fight of faith.
Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witness.
The sport of boxing requires each boxer to have strength, tenacity, focus, and strategy. The winner of each round is determined by how well each of those qualities is used. No matter how exhausted or fatigued each boxer may be, neither wants to give up the fight. They continue to fight with all of their strength until the last round and last ding of the bell. In like fashion, we must not give up the fight in the spiritual realm. Your faith is what gives you the assurance that God is present. fighting the good fight of faith requires you to maintain your endurance, commitment belief, and hope that you will gain eternal life. There are times you must step back into a mutual corner of prayer and fasting in order to gain more power. Instead of throwing the towel into the ring of despair, take that same towel to wipe the tears from your eyes. Replenish your thirst by drinking from the fountain of living water---Christ Jesus. Put on the whole armor of God to defend yourself against your enemy. You must stay in the fight. Hold on to your faith because God will work it out. He predestined you to win. Don't give up the fight because the payoff is eternal life!
