PRAYER CORNER "THE GREATEST LOVE" DAY 9
THE GREATEST LOVE
1 John 4:4---God is Love
Love is beautiful. Love is kind. Love is gracious. Have you ever loved someone unconditionally and without restraint? Have you ever loved someone in spite of his or her shortcomings, idiosyncrasies, or past? 1 Peter 4:8 (NIV) asserts, "Above all love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins." Experiencing the love of God through your spouse, children, or friends can have a lasting effect on your life. Love gives you strength when you are weak. Love gives you a shoulder to cry on. Love gives you the moment of feeling the heartbeat of the other while sitting quietly in a room. Love makes you smile when everything around you says frown. Love holds you when the tears are flowing profusely. Love does not fade at every fleeting moment. Love loves back. The greatest love experienced by you is the love shown on Calvary by Jesus Christ. Love is a sacrifice. Love is shown, and love is spoken. Share the greatest love that God has given to you.
Reflection: Smile as you think of all the people who love you.
Impartation: Take an opportunity to tell ten people that you love them,
Meditation: 1 John 4:4 God is love.
Communion: Father you are the greatest example of love because you are loved, pray that the love I have for you will be shown to others. I promise to share the love in my heart with everyone I know and with those I will meet. Amen.
